I think something like 'Append    *  greatBigFile' should work, where 
greatBigFile is the file you want to append all the FTP files to.  Of 
course, this only works if you want to download _all_ files on the FTP 
site, and if the FTP client supports * = all files ... which a good FTP 
client should.
