This used to happen to us when our iSeries delivered email directly to the 
remote email servers. Some of these remote servers rejected our connection 
attempts because they suspected we were a spammer. This was because our main 
domain of OURDOMAIN.COM was publicly registered but our iSeries domain of 
SERIAL#.OURDOMAIN.COM was not. The problem was solved when we re-configured the 
iSeries SMTP server to route all email through our main email server.

  the EMLMSG/EMLSTMF commands or, in general, when attempting to send

  REPLY CODES WITH FIRST DIGIT = '4' OR '5' ARE ERROR REPLIES.

  ERRORS THAT DO NOT HAVE ERROR REPLY CODES MAY EXIST.

   

  HOST BF1DAD02 NOT ABLE TO DELIVER MAIL TO FOLLOWING RECIPIENT(S):

     <RICK.xxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx>

  ERROR IN BATCH SMTP COMMAND SEQUENCE.

     MAIL FROM:<RICK.xxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx>

     550 Requested action not taken - Sender not allowed
