I don't have Vonage, but from what I hear those people don't have to do
that either. I have Vonage and have been using VOIP for about two years. You definitely want to have a decent pipe coming into the office (I work for home for the most part and have DSL 6MB/784KB). My phone plugs right into a router, and the router into my DSL modem. Every once in a while there are some "blips", but for the most part VOIP is great. The only time I have long distance charges is when I call over seas. The one negative: I am always fearful of not having a connection at important times (i.e. doing a web conference, talking to a huge potential client, etc). Aaron Bartell http://mowyourlawn.com
