First, "if" the user had command line access could they type in CALL and execute the program? Or, are they secured out of the program and the only way to get to it is by their menu options, (which adopts authority)? If the latter, stick with the technique. As much as I detest supplemental groups you could add "A" as a group to all programs and put the right people into the A group. Add "S" to the scanning group of programs... and "O" to it's respective programs. *public would have *exclude to all programs. Rob Berendt
