No.  If you're trying to format your Excel pretty then you may wish to use 
the hssf api's that Scott Klement put some wrappers around.  Hey, got a 
guy here to use his first service programs.

Or you may wish to simply use a hll like rpgle to write directly to the 
IFS and format like
"A",000253.65,"test"
"C",012476.09,"alpha"
but even that may not leave it "Right Adjusted" when they open it in 
Excel.
