If you could email the wrapper I would appreciate it. No need to Re-invent the wheel

Thanks

Do you have any notes on how you set this up? I just started looking into
setting up Hylafax to send faxes from the Iseries. If you have install
notes or advice I would greatly appreciate the help.

There is a link on the hylafax website to a java client called
gnu-hylafax. gnu-hylafax is a java toolkit that implements the hylafax
protocol for you. You can call methods in the gnu-hylafax package
directly or (like I did with the help of others on this list) write a
wrapper to simplifiy things a little bit. I'd be happy to send you my
little wrapper - it is just a little java program that simplifies the
calls between RPG and gnu-hylafax.

The process works like this:

1. An RPG program creates the printed output. In our case we produce
postscript output, but you could just as well produce a regular SCS or AFP
spooled file and convert it to PDF.
2. Call the methods in gnu-hylafax (or my wrapper) passing such things as
the fax number, the email address of the sender (for confirmation
purposes) and full pathname of the file you want to fax.
