Thanks Mark. I saw that but yes, it was for an older version of the IPCS and it looks like most Linux stuff I see - a little bit beyond my geek skills.

It looks pretty involved but the guy was good enough to carefully document the process. I was hoping that I could use a more "standard" install, similar to the Win2K install on the IPCS or something approximating the instructions I saw for IXS installation.

I just found an e-mail address of a IPCS/IXS guy from IBM I met at Common. I'll post something to him next.

Interesting that VMWare is free, as long as you buy a server operating system. Those guys at Microsoft really know how to sell OS's.....
