All our users have mapped drives to network server (H: drives). When we
do this type of option we have them put the file on their H: drive and
then kick off an app from their AS/400 menus. The app will FTP to the
network file server, change directory to the users H: drive folder and
GET the file. You could use the IFS via a mapped drive also and change
the ftp get to a copy stream file. We did not want to give all our users
authority to start a FTP session on the iSeries and run a remote call -
too dangerous as they could submit a DLTLIB *ALL

might prove educational and fun.

The person runs a PC program, creating a PC file.  This file must go to

the iSeries once a week, and then be processed by a CLP program/

Ideas? Suggestions?  Fantastic solutions?
