Anyone use the following vendor's products to create an interface...

between DB2/400 and ORACLE or DB2/400 and any RDBMS?   The vendors and
their products are:

IBM - Websphere Information Integrator 

Lakeview Technologies - Replicate 1

If so, I'd like to find out your experiences, good-new, bad-news, did
the tool increase programmer or project productivity and time to
production, did the tool perform nearly as promised, did the tool
eliminate or reduce the need for programming data transfer routines,
messaging and data syncing routines when communications or one side was
down, etc?
