"hi,
is there a way to get a field into the page heading,
not the main query page, but the actual report page
header?
thanks,
mike"

I do not think that there is a way; however, you can use the OVRPRTF
command and use the Print text (PRTTXT) parameter and you may have
whatever value you want, at the bottom of each page.
