Hey list! I resolved the problem.
The command to use is CPYFRMSTM instead of the one I was using. The steps
I took were the following:
a) CRTPF FILE(QTEMP/TEMPORARY) RCDLEN(132)
b) CPYFRMSTMF FROMSTMF('/TEST/2006_08_04_pay[1].20060804.013057.txt')
TOMBR('qsys.lib/qtemp.lib/temporary.file/temporary.mbr')
MBROPT(*REPLACE)
CVTDTA(*AUTO)
STMFCODPAG(*STMF)
DBFCCSID(*FILE)
ENDLINFMT(*ALL)
TABEXPN(*YES)
The data was perfectly copied to QTEMP/TEMPORARY. Thanks to all who
helped me!
PD. Also thanks Scott for the QSHELL stuff! This is interesting and I
was not exposed to this before. AWESOME!
