Case doesn't matter (for this directory) but it's not a bad habit to get into specifying the correct case. Once you start messing with directory QOpenSys (and we have a couple of TB in there) case does matter. You can have '/QOpenSys/MyDir' and '/QOpenSys/MYDIR' and do a WRKLNK '/QOpenSys/M*' and see /QOpenSys/MyDir /QOpenSys/MYDIR Rob Berendt
