What's a sample script that uses it? I wouldn't think it would be an FTP script if you have an I: drive mapped to it. But, then again, maybe you have one person with a mapped drive and another with ftp. There will be some pain involved. For example, I would not recommend creating some new directory in the IFS named WillyNilly and using iNav to assign the share name QDLS to that directory instead of QDLS. I'd be afraid that IBM might have some hooks in there for QDLS. Keeping that in mind, you would then have to go to all pc's in your environment that now have an I: drive assigned to \\myi5\QDLS to \\myi5\NewShare. Or you could transition these. Create a new drive name, for example R:. And have R: assigned to \\myi5\NewShare and gradually wean people over to using the R: drive. Any programs that use CPYTOPCD or CPYFRMPCD will need to be changed. See CPYTOIMPF and CPYTOSTMF or CPYFRMIMPF and CPYFRMSTMF. By the way, we really need to move this off of the RPG list and on to the midrange-l list. I replied to both lists. Please reply to the midrange-l posting. Rob Berendt
