Do you have a Guest account on the Windows server? I had a PMR open with IBM
for a long time with a V5R3 system that couldn't access a Windows 2000
server. There needed to be a Guest account so the first pass authentication
could be done, then the actual credentials would be used to access the
share.

I am still having a problem with my Windows 2000 server not accepting
netbios connection from one iSeries at V5R3. Another one does work. The
windows server can browse the shares on all iSeries including the one I
am having an issue with. The error code in the job log is CPDB050 / 117
-- Session request rejected. Where can I find the counter part in
Windows 2000? The event viewer does not show a thing. Short of
rebooting the iSeries I do not know where to go from here.

FYI this is my second post on this subject and I tried all the
suggestions from the first post on Friday.
