I found another client with one of the defective PTF's, only this one has MF39123 permanently installed. The documentation says I need to slip the LIC and start over with the PTF's. Here is the reason the PTF is defective: REASON DEFECTIVE: The Work with disk unit screens under Dedicated Service Tool (DST) and System Service Tool (SST) are in English, not the installed National Language Version (NLV). Under some conditions, the Work with disk unit screens become unusable for all languages. My question is that since this box is in the US, why should I care about the NLV? Anybody from IBM want to chime in? I really don't have time to call the support line. -- Paul Nelson Arbor Solutions, Inc. 708-670-6978 Cell pnelson@xxxxxxxxxx -----midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: ----- To: <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> From: "Ingvaldson, Scott" <SIngvaldson@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx Date: 07/14/2006 10:53AM Subject: RE: Defective PTF link The defective PTF document is SF98088 at: http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/sline003.nsf/2d3aff1c6b4d6ce086256453000d97 1e/e41b3dfe1d7cb49b86256eac005dc242?OpenDocument The bad Cume was actually C6101530.
