We upgraded from V5R3 to V5R4 over the weekend and I ran into one problem that I did not see in the Memo to Users [and still cannot find]. If you have SQL procedures that are used to call an RPG programs, the programs will need to be changed to TERASAPCE(*YES). Sorry that I didn't save the error messages, but the called programs would fail on the call with an indication that the passed pointers could not be handled by the program unless teraspace addressing was enabled. No modification of the SQL procedure was needed, and nothing other than a CHGPGM PGM(LIB/PROG) TERASPACE(*YES) was needed to get our configurator back up and running. This is being sent just to help out anybody else who may scan MIDRANGE for the problem before/after upgrading.
