Hello Mike,

As far as I know there is not a good way of auto-naming Infoprint created
PDF files.

If you're interested in commercial options, we have a tool called
Infoprint Integrator that can be used to intercept the PDF output from the
Infoprint server and spool the PDF's for emailing or output to other IFS
folders on the iSeries.

If you're interested in learning more, feel free to contact me off-list.

subject: Infoprint Server - PDF filenaming

Hello all:

I'm using Infoprint Server for PDF creation and placement within the IFS.
I want to
know if I can control the PDF filename and can I dictate what that name
will be
with each PDF created?

Thanks,

Mike
