Not the unix function but the CL command CHGATR -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Christen, Duane J." <dchristen@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>
I have an IFS file that has the read-only attribute set. I need to move it to another directory after it has been processes, but unlink() fails with errno = "3500-File is read only". I have attemted to use the chMod() function to change the read only attribute but it seems to only effect the authorities to the object/data and not the read only attribute. Does anyone know the correct unix function to change the read only attribute of the correct mode(s) to use with chMod()?
