RE: CVTDAT TOSEP(*NONE) not working?

We're all nobodies here or somewhere! 

Read your other post, and I think it'd have been good of IBM to be more 
explicit about this, so that we don't need to draw conclusions about separators 
from the length of the result field. JMHO!

Converting any of these formats will leave the separators in: 
*ISO, *USA, *EUR, *JIS 

When you are entering the cvtdat cmd and prompt it and then prompt for the 
help text, when you scroll down to the section that says 

Field Size and Minimum Variable Length 

When you look at the *Iso line it basically shows that the ToSep is 
Disregarded (does not show the ToSep as an option). 
Which is reflected in the min field size of 10 

The other formats such as *mdy show either ToSep options of Any or None

which includes hyphen separators, I would think that the TOSEP(*NONE) is 
logically incompatible. If you want "yyyymmdd" then you should use

i'm at V5R3. I have the following CL code: 

DCL VAR(&DATE ) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(6) 
DCL VAR(&ISO ) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(10) 

RTVJOBA DATE(&DATE) 
CVTDAT DATE(&DATE) TOVAR(&ISO) TOFMT(*ISO) + 
TOSEP(*NONE) 

when done, &ISO has the following value: 

'2006-07-06' 

Tosep *NONE doesn't seem to be working? any ideas?
