Renew Digital Certificate Manager.

I am trying to renew my digital Certificate using the Renew Certificate option.
 
Exported from IE to Desktop to a .pfx file. 

Copied to /root/tmp directory through ftp(with bin) and drag and drop, get the 
same error with each try.
 
An asn.1 encoding/decoding error occurred. If this file was transferred to this 
location, check that you used the correct mode. For example, usually the FTP 
mode binary should be used for binary files and ASCII mode for text files. 
Newer versions of some PKCS standards may not be supported.

Any Idea why I am getting this error.
