Re: SQL - Calculate the number of hours between 2 timestamps

The result of subtracting two timestamps is a decimal equivalent of 
yyyymmddhhmmss.######.  Therefore any result greater than 080000.000000 is 
more than 8 hours

select createdate, now(), now()-createdate
from qtemp/todd
