I've got a number of instances in a particular table on my system where we keep getting bad data at the end of the field. From what I can tell, the characters are usually X'224E20', not sure it almost seems like if these are some key-stroke combination that is not recognized, but I'm not sure what they would be. I am trying to build an SQL statement to show all the occurences, but I can figure out how to specify the select for the LIKE. Here's my statement: SELECT PLT, ITMID, MAJLOC, MINLOC FROM ccsdta/dcsilm WHERE MINLOC LIKE X'4E'
