Odd, although I have seen it de-max a window but the resulting Window is
still full-sized. In those cases, Size should be available to reduce
from full screen to something reasonable.

Anyway, glad you got it fixed.

But it didn't. It would only max and min.

I see Cascade worked. Clicking Restore from the upper left menu
should work as well. It un-maximizes (de-maximizes?) a window.

Click the upper-left icon. If you are truly Maximized,
then Minimize
will be available but Move & Size will be grayed out.

If Move & Size are available, then you aren't really maximize, your
window is just sized at roughly full screen.
If this is the case, select Size and use either the mouse
or the arrow

keys to adjust the size accordingly.

When it's maximized, Can you size it to make it smaller then you
should be able to window it?

I'm not sure how you mean.

When it's maximized, if I click the little double-window
icon in the
upper right corner of the session, it doesn't go into
windowed mode,
it minimizes.
I don't know any other way to resize a maximized window, because
there's no corner to grab and drag.

Why is it always me. <g>

iSeries Access for Windows ("IAW") won't 'window' on
terminal services

PC5250 sessions attached to the IXS. What I mean is either
it's full
screen, or it's minimized. When full screen, clicking the
'windowed'
icon in the upper right causes it to be minimized. Once
minimized,
the _only_ way to get it back is to right-click it in the
tray and
select 'Maximize'
which then makes it full screen again.

Doesn't matter who the user is. Other PC apps (Word, Excel,
etc) window just fine on these terminal services sessions.
IAW windows just fine on all other PCs in the place.
It's only the
IXS and then only in IAW, so I don't really know if it's
a Windows
issue or an IAW issue.

I'm on the latest service pack.

Anybody see anything like this before?
