Paul, While I am no Windoz lover, isn't the cost for the ASC stuff MUCH higher than the figure I put down for QMF for Windows? And, are you saying the ASC product can call out from the i5 to an Oracle DB on any other platform (mainframe, midrange, micro) and perform queries? If so, while that might be nice for the i5 folks wishing to access ORACLE data from time to time, as well as DB2/400 data, exclusively ORACLE users see absolutely NO need to go through an i5 to get to ORACLE.
