Rob,I agree with your point that "never" is too strong. As with our other thread, it's all about understanding risk and consequences. I would say as a general rule to those who have not thoroughly understood the backup & recovery manuals, crossing libraries with physicals and logicals can be a bad idea.

To the cpylib command is doesn't matter if data, programs, anything...
