I do see it configured in Linux, but I've not tried it. Maybe I can play with it. What's a simple Linux command to do a DSPTAP or some such thing? I don't want to mess with the drives that are set up for TSM. I'd play with some drives that are on the i5/os lpar and no longer used (a pair of 3581's sitting around sucking dust) that I also see on Linux underneath /dev. Rob Berendt
