Richard, Collecting System Values over 70 machines and returning them to a single consolidated database is just one of the things that PowerTech's ComplianceMonitor tool does to help with SOX Audits. If you haven't seen how this tool yet, you may want to invest 15 minutes investigating this commercial solution (I could do a demo in about that time) before you launch into a long, complicated project. Send me a note if you would like to see it. jte -- John Earl | Chief Technology Officer The PowerTech Group 19426 68th Ave. S Seattle, WA 98032 (253) 872-7788 ext. 302 john.earl@xxxxxxxxxxxxx www.powertech.com Celebrating our 10th Anniversary Year! I have been asked to compile a list (in a database) of the value of all system values on our 70+ production systems, mostly to stay on top of next year's SOX auditors. Does anyone have an idea where the values are held? The ideal here would be to find a file (or a couple files) in QSYS that actually hold the values that I can compile. Oh, this also needs to be automated too. Does anyone know? Thanks.
