I've always just used www.iseries.ibm.com/infocenter - it gets 
redirected to something like the second link shown below - it's 
actually the iSeries infocenter from the menu on the left. The first 
link is where you go when you choose V5R4. The benefit of using the 
second link below or the one I have used is, you do get to the other 
infocenters, esp. the hardware one, where more of the i5 information is.
