If Peter, Leif, Barbara, and anyone else who has been having trouble with HSSF getting the Java I/O errors could try out the updated code, I'd appreciate the feedback. FYI:
Because of the _C_IFS_tmpnam, HSSF4 needs BndDir('QC2LE') in the header.
Have been testing without problems, but should not be taken as a guarantee to
others :-)
