HI,

I used to work in manufacturing and what you manufacture sometimes effects the
software you choose. For instance you might manufacture a product that is made
to
customer specs or you might manufacture something that is always the same
(order driven).
Anyway, for "Job Shop/order driven" type manufacturing I have worked with
Jobscope and I remember
it as being pretty easy to work with.

I have a friend running a manufacturing plant who is looking for an
AS400 based ERP system. This manufacturing plant has approximately 100
users and may have about 10 thousand transactions per day in their
facility. Need to have MRP and labor tracking capabilities so I would
think a fully integrated ERP system is needed. Any recommendations on
a good reliable system available today:
I'm familiar with:
BPCS
Mapics
JD Edwarrds
Does anyone have good experience with CMS or any other AS400 packages.
