The "*ADMIN" HTTP server configuration itself seems to be missing?!?

Earlier, I said:


So far, we know that if I try to launch the *ADMIN HTTP
server, it gets a SIGKILL and crashes.



I just tried WRKHTTPCFG *ADMIN on the affected box. It came
back "Unable to update server configuration ADMIN." Could
that be another clue?
It doesn't appear to be an authority problem, given that I can't seem to get at the server configuration, even though I'm using a QSECOFR-equivalent account. 

Any ideas, anybody? Hello? H E L P ! !
