I think you have to set the control panel on the machine to 21 or something like that, then your console will come up to a screen which will allow you to change it. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chris Bipes Sent: Tuesday, May 23, 2006 10:27 AM To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Ops Console - a cry for help I am trying to get the Virtual control panel to open up and I have run into difficulty. I don't remember the password for the device I created. I am logged on to the system console and have started SST. Option 8 to work with SST profiles and devices. Option 2 to work with service tools device ID gives me a not authorized error message. I am using QSECOFR which has authority to everything. Do I have to be in DST to do this? I need to reset the device id password for my VCP. Christopher Bipes Information Services Director CrossCheck, Inc.
