Rather an i5 versus an iSeries item. But MH ptf's are for the FSP or Flexible Service Processor. This applies to the rack as a whole. MF ptfs are LIC or Licensed Internal Code and apply only to a specific lpar. If you are running a single lpar, non HMC, machine there is a way to apply FSP updates via these MH ptf's. On HMC managed systems I think these are more marker ptfs so that the lpar may know what version the FSP is running. Rob Berendt
