Subject: Re: Best Method for Identifying Damaged Objects on a System ?

The full system save is your best bet. We run a RCLSTG immediately prior
to a full system save and still have the save pause on occasion due to
damaged objects.
The full system save should flag your objects.

DUH REMINDER. Do NOT use the tapes for this full system save that you
used for the full system save immediately prior. You may need to restore
from the other tapes.

I could resurrect the thread about all the damaged objects I am seeing
lately in DB2 but that would only serve to throw gasoline on the fire
created by my rants about IBM dropping support of i5/os

for TSM. :-)
