You can specify the OUTPUT parameter on your SAV command. Basically you're
saving the contents of the Integrated File System except for the QSYS
library, the QDLS (folders) directory, the QNTC (Windows shares) directory
and the directory that contains stuff like web configuration files and
stuff.

We created a clp that mimics a go save 23 several years ago. The system is
not restricted, but QINTER is down and nothing is running in QBATCH.

I would like confirmation of exactly what we are backing up.

Step 1 is SAVSECDATA
Step 2 is SAVCFG
Step 3 is SAVLIB *ALLUSR
Step 4 is SAVDLO

These steps I understand. It is the last step I am not sure of:

Step 5 is SAV DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAPMLB02.DEVD') OBJ(('/*') ('/QSYS.LIB'
*OMIT) ('/QDLS' *OMIT) ('/QNTC' *OMIT) ('/QOPENSYS/QIBM/ProdData' *OMIT))
VOL('P2') ENDOPT(*UNLOAD) UPDHST(*YES)

If I am correct this statement saves everything else on the computer, but
not what we already saved. The joblog says that this command saves 21089
objects. Where are these objects ? Can I get a list of them ?

We are on V5R3, current on PTF's.
