My bad on two accounts, can't use DELETE with CTEs and can't use joins in
the DELETE as my sample showed.
Looks like Charles has worked out a working alternative.

Can you use common table expressions with the DELETE statement?  I have just
come out of V5R1, and haven't played with V5R3 much yet....
