All this and according to last week's announcement IBM is going to start charging you at some point for the privilege of receiving CDs instead of using electronic delivery. Because its cheaper than paying someone to actually consolidate orders into a single box (according to whomever did the analysis). In the past year I have had: Boxes shipped to me with only a few sheets of paperwork The wrist grounding strap Jeff mentioned. Multiple orders of circuit cards where the barcode on the outside of the box did not match the product inside the box (all manufactured & boxed in other countries). (not a shipping isue, but a quality issue) the two i5's I know of do not have a working, functional front cover door. They are all broken. IBM states that front door must be on and closed for proper airflow. jim franz ----- Original Message ----- From: "Al Barsa" <barsa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Midrange Systems Technical Discussion" <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, May 16, 2006 1:25 PM Subject: Re: V5R4 arriving - is this right? > Why does it have to come in multiple packages? > > Al > > Al Barsa, Jr. > Barsa Consulting Group, LLC > > 400>390 > > "i" comes before "p", "x" and "z" > e gads > > Our system's had more names than Elizabeth Taylor! > > 914-251-1234 > 914-251-9406 fax > > http://www.barsaconsulting.com > http://www.taatool.com > http://www.as400connection.com > > > > > "Jeff Crosby" > <jlcrosby@dilgard > foods.com> To > Sent by: "'Midrange Systems Technical > midrange-l-bounce Discussion'" > s@xxxxxxxxxxxx <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > cc > > 05/16/2006 12:51 Subject > PM V5R4 arriving - is this right? > > > Please respond to > Midrange Systems > Technical > Discussion > <midrange-l@midra > nge.com> > > > > > > > I ordered V5R4 thru my BP last week.
