We use 2 products from KEMETECH called CVTXLSDBF and CVTDBFXLS to transfer
data back and forth from Excel and the AS/400. It is very easy to use and
is not expensive.

RE: Automating downloading an Excel spread sheet to the iSeries using a
macro

Thank you for the tip, but I have used this process, successfully, in the
past.
What I was looking for was a process that would allow the user to send
data from an Excel
spread sheet to the iSeries via a macro.
In other words, to automate the data transfer process once the user has
finished entering
his data into his spread sheet.

Thanks again, Rene

This is has been handled as a "add on" to Client Access for a
number of years. It's free and easy to handle.
