I am working with our admin to get it fixed, he is calling IBM. Yes, it is disturbing my project for the CFO. Pretty important to get this working then. ;-) On 5/2/06, vhamberg@xxxxxxxxxxx <vhamberg@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
I'm with Jim all the way on this - get the latest group for DB2, because IBM will ask you to do that first - I mean, the message is talking about the low-level stuff like SLIC and DBOP - the latter is the database optimizer code that is in the new SQL engine. So find out who is in charge at your company of getting you set up to submit problem reports to IBM and to be able to call support - there are ways to do this on the Internet that are very nice. You are paying for the support (I hope you are getting software support <g>) and IBM is really superb about this stuff. Also, you might be able to ignore it - is it stopping anything? Let it be - if you don't need to disrupt things, you can wait. But get the group PTFs on - they are NOT part of the CUME - and get in touch with IBM - it's their software, right? ;-) Good luck!
