Create a new one with the new length and a different name
CPYF from old to new with FROMMBR(*ALL) TOMBR(*FROMMBR)
rename old one
rename new one to former name of old one

or use CPYSRCF in a similar fashion.

Be careful if the new length is shorter than the old - check that no code is beyond the new length - you could use SQL to test this.

This last issue is probably why it is not allowed - too easy to lose source code.

Maybe TAATOOLS has something to do it.
