If you're at V5R3 or greater, you can use the RTVDIRINF command. Be advised that you do need to change the CCSID of the job where the command is run to something other than the default 65535. I use 037.

Hi, I'd like to see a report of all the objects in a single IFS directory and all its subdirs. I've used CALL PGM(QSRSRV) PARM(METRICS '/mydir/mysubdir') but I get a single report for each directory. Should I run a SAV to *print or does anyone have anything like a dsplib to *print for the IFS. Thanks, Frank
