Client Access disconnecting every 10 min

I am experiencing a problem with Client Access v5r1 sp SI11806  
disconnecting every 10 min. on one laptop running XP Pro sp1.

It's connected with an Ethernet cable going over the internet.  I have a 
desktop XP Pro right next to me connected to the same router and it's not 
disconnecting at all.  So that tells me v4r4 is configured just fine.  I 
haven't made any changes to it in years.  The only difference I can see 
between these two machines is the desktop doesn't have a Service Pack 
installed.  It's a fairly new machine.  I don't know how I forgot to install 
the 
latest SP but it's working and this laptop isn't.

It seems like the laptop is having a hard time obtaining a license.  This is 
connected to a 150 that has *nomax set up for users.  

Does anyone know what could fix this problem?  It's quite annoying when 
I'm trying to get some work done.  I have searched the archives trying to 
find someone with a similar problem.
