As to using PSP and FTP in batch...  This for those that need to
download encrypted files (using PSP) from a site regardless if its
System i5 or not [you need to find out what type of OS],  generally it
goes something like this:

1- Download the free AIX PSP binary version (I think I got it from IBM)
that runs under the PASE, get that running (not a real biggie)
2- Create yourself a public/private key
3. Send the site you're going to receive encrypted files from the
public key
4. Have them build the files to come to you using the public key
5. Create some REXX EXECS (or whatever) and run them via the IBM
scheduler or whatever scheduler you have,  to FTP the encrypted files to
your site and run the file into the IFS, decrypt the file(s), move them
to the regular flat-file AS/400 file structure, if you wish
6. Use the downloaded files as you like. 

Pretty much the opposite, going the other way.
