Please don't use *TBL objects, and especially not generic ones like 
QTCPASC, QASCII, QTCPEBC, etc.  You might fix up your current [ problem, 
but will just find other problems down the road.

You will be much better off in the long run if you use CCSID based 
conversion APIs such as iconv().  You should be able to find much 
discussion of this API in the archives.

Question about table (*TBL)






Hi group,

I have a question about table, i need to translate ] in ebcdic to the same
char in asci .
I have used QTCPASC tables in qusrsys but it does not work.
so i have retrioved the source and change it to get the good ascii code.

But i f i want to change [ wich give 8C to 60 in ascii, what is the code
that i must enter ...
