All you by chance using two different models of IxS?

As I understand it, in a DR recovery situation, you have to make sure
that the exact same model IxS is available.

I feel IxS/IxA have some advantages over standalone servers.  But
there's only so much IBM can do to overcome the limits of Microsoft's
OS.

Just like you can take a hard drive out of a PC and stick it into a
completely different environment and expect it to work, NWSD can only be
used by the same type of IxS/IxA.

When we went from an 830 to our 810, we had to get a new IxS as the old
one in the 830 wouldn't work in the 810.  Since the IxS's were
different, we had to rebuild the system drive for Windows.

One benefit to the IxA is that it separates the i5 hardware from the PC.
