Sign on screen showing last time you signed on. That has been around for a LONG TIME. There is a setting in the user profile to control whether you see that or not. I think it is good because it shows if anyone else has been using your sign on.Many co-workers want to bypass that screen, because it is extra stuff they not interested in seeing when getting signed on.
As for slow response times. http://wiki.midrange.com/index.php/DegradationThere is some kind of time out in the Client Access and other places, where if you have like a failed connection, various points in the connection may wait lengths of time you may wish to adjust. Also check out DSPJOBTBL to see if settings are appropriate to the volume of tasks and users on the system.
When I dial in to an old AS/400 (v4r3) I get a message showing my last sign on. This is new behavior. So far as we know, we've changed nothing on the AS/400 or on my Client Access. Also, response times have become horrible, up to 6-9 sconds. Anyone have any idea what we may have inadvertently done? -- ----------------------------------- Booth Martin http://martinvt.com ----------------------------------- -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
