You stated you wanted to make some money at it. Personally I don't have a problem with that concept. However that does DQ you from http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/education/scholars/emea/benefits.html Not sure if your proposal qualifies for http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/charter/ The difference between the 520 "Entry" and the 520 "Entry Plus" is that the "Entry" does not include WDS (compilers, PDM, SEU, SDA, WDSC), iSeries Access, Query, DB2 Query and SQL Toolkit.. So, for your purposes I'd go with either the "Entry Plus" or the "Entry Plus with RAID". http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/i/hardware/520express/index.html Granted, you might do better on the used market but you have to be really careful with software licensing. Also, some models won't upgrade to current, or "next", versions of OS. http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/eserver/support/iseries/planning/upgrade/futurehdwr.html Disclaimer: I'm really not a performance guru as to whether or not that's enough power for your concern.
