Doug,

really depends what workload your apps are going to put on websphere, but
look to have at least 1-2 Gb of memory per websphere instance if you want
anything approaching decent performance, the more memory the better.

One thing to remember is if your apps are going to hit the database hard,
your gonna need more memory on your database partition, as those database
server jobs are gonna need memory too
