Re: Where is my IFS file on tape?

How can I view/change my setting for object detail?  To view what I've saved I 
used wrkmedibrm, is that the best way?

Good question....don't have a good answer.  I'm still in the process of
looking at how to use BRMS.

I know at the object level, BRMS has an option (Retain Object Detail) to
save the save activity detail.  So you can for instance see every time
and on what tape a given object was backed up.

A quick search through the manual didn't provide the answer you are
looking for, but I did see the following:
"With BRMS, you can selectively (that is, singly and on an as-needed
basis) restore system information, libraries, control groups, Integrated
File System objects, and other items."

I also saw that "Retain Object Detail" seems to be a valid option for
IFS backups.
