FYI... QCMDEXC isn't necessary.  INCCHAR is the only parm that can change.
All he needs to do is prompt for the value he wants and pass it to a CLP.
Then he can do whatever it is he needs to do with that value.

You can't do this. It is not possible to prompt part of an element
list. You can only prompt for complete parameters.

You'll need to request the VALUE some other way (e.g., DSPF) and feed
that into CPYF using concatenation. You'll then have to run the command
via QCMDEXC (or equivalent API).
